The icon display shows that icons of great beauty are being made, in our
times, by an increasing number of talented iconographers all over the world. When examining the
larger images it can be seen that the icons that excel are the ones that are true byzantine icons,
i.e. the ones that have been hand-painted in the
Traditional Eastern Orthodox

Notice that instead of showing a single
image, countries with many iconographers like Greece, Russia and the USA are rotating several
images. This way the representation is fairer for those countries when using this type of
display.
